The Tamesaburo Memorial Museum

The Tamesaburo Memorial Museum, an annex of the museum, is a mansion built in 1934 by Tamesaburo Furukawa, builder of the Furukawa Museum of Art, as his final home.

Many of the Japanese paintings in the Furukawa Museum collection originally were housed here.

The four buildings and two gates are all registered as Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan.

For a separate fee, you can watch a demonstration of Karakuri dolls. Just make a reservation through the website. https://karakuri-nagoya.jp/
