Kakuozan Nittaiji
The temple was built in 1904 to enshrine the remains of Shakyamuni Buddha (Goshinkotsu: sacred bones) donated by the Kingdom of Thailand. The temple is the only one in Japan that enshrines the true bones of Buddha and is not bound by any particular sect of Japanese Buddhism. Entry is free of charge. (the true bones are not open to the public.)
